1. Cover Specifications
  • Material: Chipboard (Hardboard) with a thickness of 1000gsm.
  • Cover Wrap: The chipboard is wrapped with 150gsm Art Paper (printed with your design).
2. Inner Page Specifications
  • Material:
    • Art Paper (100gsm / 127gsm): Standard for high-quality photos.
    • Simili Paper (100gsm): Best for text-heavy content or a matte, natural finish.
  • Page Count: Unlike softcover booklets, hard covers require a certain thickness to look good. Usually starts at 56 pages minimum.
3. Binding Method
  • Case Binding (Hardcover Binding): The inner pages are sewn or glued together and then “cased-in” to the rigid outer shell.
  • Thread Sewing: Highly recommended for hardcover booklets to allow them to open flatter and prevent pages from falling out over time.
4. Size & Orientation
  • Standard Sizes: A4 (210x297mm), A5 (148x210mm).
  • Orientation: Portrait (classic) or Landscape (modern/cinematic).
5. Finishing (The “Wow” Factor)
  • Lamination: Matte, Gloss.
  • Embellishments:
    • Spot UV: Shiny texture on the title or logo.
    • Hot Stamping Stamping: Gold, Silver, or Bronze metallic.
  • Endpapers: The pages that glue the inner block to the cover. You can leave them Plain White or Custom Print them with a pattern or solid color.

    File Submission (?): Please send the file in Ai CS 6, PDF, or high-res PNG/JPEG (minimum 300 DPI), and upload files directly if they are under 20MB. For larger files, include a download link in the “Remarks” field.

    Printing Method (?): This product is produced using 4C (CMYK)

    Bleed Requirement (?): 3mm margin on all sides.

    Safe Zone (?): Please maintain a 5mm margin on all sides.

    Cut-off Time (?): 6:00 PM (Orders placed after this time will be processed the following business day).

    Production Timeline (?): For orders confirmed before 6:00 PM (Weekdays, excluding Public Holidays):
    • Normal: 7 Working Days

    Upon Print Ready (?): Self Pick Up or Shipping*
